Norwegian Knowledge Centre for Health Services extends subscription with ProQuest for further three to five years
Cambridge, UK., 4 December, 2007 -- Following a competitive tender, the Norwegian Knowledge Centre for Health Services (NOKC) has extended its subscription with ProQuest for a further three to five years. ProQuest will continue to provide access to ProQuest Medical Library, ProQuest® Nursing & Allied Health Source and ProQuest® Psychology Journals. In addition, NOKC has selected ProQuest® Health Management to add to its resources. The mission of NOKC is to gather and disseminate evidence about the effect and quality of methods and interventions within all parts of Norwegian health services.

"NOKC is delighted to renew its subscription with ProQuest" said Kjell Tjensvoll, Consortium Manager. "We selected the ProQuest package on the basis of sought-after titles with no embargo, and a wide range of specialty areas covered in the package combined with a good pricing policy. We've been very pleased with the service from ProQuest over the past three years, and look forward to continuing our relationship over the next three to five years."

ProQuest Medical Library provides a strong foundation for any library wishing to build and expand its clinical and biomedical journal collection. Subject coverage includes major clinical and health disciplines including cardiology, oncology, orthopedics, neurology, and more. All titles are selected from industry-trusted lists, such as Core Collection and Brandon Hill, and all are MEDLINE indexed. ProQuest Nursing & Allied Health Source offers enhanced allied health coverage and access to definitive information from journals, evidence-based resources, and dissertations. ProQuest Psychology Journals encompasses a wide range of topics from leading psychology and psychosomatic publications, and dissertations. In addition to clinical and social psychology, it also provides coverage of related disciplines.

ProQuest Health Management is designed specifically for professional healthcare managers, as well as researchers studying the field of health administration. ProQuest Health Management combines high-demand full-text coverage of current journals and specialist doctoral dissertations and theses.
