Cambridge, United Kingdom, June 24, 2009 - ProQuest is pleased to announce the delegate competition winners of the daily iPod Nano prize on the ProQuest stand at EAHIL Workshop 2009. EAHIL is the European Association for Health Information and Libraries and attracts health professionals from throughout Europe. This year ProQuest was the top sponsor. Jody Burton, Publisher for Health Sciences, ProQuest, said ‘EAHIL is the premier European health sciences conference in ProQuest’s calendar, and this year has been no exception. The caliber of delegates and speakers is always of the highest quality, and we enjoy sharing what is new in our health and medical suite of databases. This year we announced great additions to ProQuest Nursing & Allied Health Source™ and our medical databases plus the upcoming launch of ProQuest Public Health, part of our expanding portfolio of health sciences resources.’ Winners were announced in the main conference each day and included:
Winners also had the opportunity to donate to the Goodgifts charity on-stand. This on-stand charity drive will help provide donkey-drawn libraries for schools in Somalia, Sudan and Uganda. ProQuest invited delegates of EAHIL to give generously to this important cause. The total amount raised from delegates and ProQuest employees will be match-funded by ProQuest. Each stand visitor also received a ProQuest Irish sheep.
