ProQuest to Distribute ACM Journals
Agreement adds nine full-text info technology titles to ABI/INFORM®

CAMBRIDGE, United Kingdom, March 31, 2005 - ProQuest Information and Learning will distribute nine journals published
by the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) to the library and
education market. All nine full-text titles are new to electronic
distribution. ProQuest Information and Learning, a unit of ProQuest
Company, creates and publishes databases for libraries and educational
institutions worldwide. ACM, founded in 1947, is a major force in advancing the skills of information technology professionals and students worldwide. The nine new titles include: • ACM Computing Surveys holds comprehensive tutorials and survey papers covering the literature and explaining topics to those who seek to learn about areas outside their specialties “We are pleased to add these well-known journals to our business databases. We provide more than 40,000 computer science doctoral dissertation citations for ACM's use. This new agreement makes the information exchange two-way, increasing the opportunities for researchers to gain insight into the fast-changing information technology field,” said Suzanne BeDell, ProQuest vice president, publishing. The titles are available in the ABI/INFORM® business database suite, including a five-year backfile of full-text content for each title. The content is available in full text, Text+Graphics, abstract and index, and PDF Image.
