ProQuest Information & Learning to deliver Latin American newspapers
service to library market

CAMBRIDGE, United Kingdom, September 10, 2004 - ProQuest Information and Learning announces a new agreement to distribute
the finance pages from Noticias Financieras, a newspaper service that
spans Latin America. Customers of ProQuest in Latin America will be able to access this new service through the ProQuest platform and search it seamlessly with their other ProQuest collections. ProQuest Information and Learning, a unit of ProQuest Company, creates and publishes databases for libraries and educational institutions worldwide. Noticias Financieras is a financial news service covering the Latin America region produced by IMS in association with the largest and most influential media and news organizations in the region. The service delivers content from 28 leading Latin American news sources and covers 10 countries, including Brazil , Chile , Columbia , Mexico and Peru . Key sources include O Globo (Brazil), El Mercurio (Chile), Expansion (Mexico) and El Pais (Uruguay) and over 70% of the articles are available in the service by 8am EST on the day of publication.
