Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Business Services

Elliot Forsyth is Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Business Services. He joined ProQuest in 2002 and is responsible for all general HR functions and employee relations, as well as safety and environmental issues, for global operations. Forsyth also served as acting vice president for the Content Operations portion of the business.

Prior to ProQuest, Forsyth was vice president of operations human resources for Excel, plc, leading HR support for more than 200 locations across the Americas. Forsyth's earlier experience includes leadership positions with Rubbermaid, where he was responsible for such functions as international human resources and work site improvements. In addition to managing labor relations, he drove world-class manufacturing practices across the company's two largest manufacturing facilities. He also led full business integration across European Operations, and due diligence and integration of acquisitions and joint ventures in Mexico, Japan, and Europe.

Forsyth is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management and past President of local Society of Human Resource Management Chapters. Named Volunteer of the Year by the March of Dimes of Southeast Michigan (2004), Forsyth serves on the Board of Directors for that chapter as well as on the State of Michigan Revenue Committee for the March of Dimes. He also is on the HR Curriculum Advisory Board for Cleary College. Forsyth received his Bachelor's degree in Communications & Business from Mount Union College in 1976.
