We live in fast moving times when the demand for instant access to a world of vetted, reliable information has never been greater. And, it doesn't stop there. Successful research needs to be supported throughout the entire cycle, from exploring, to pinpointing critical data, to managing resources, to using and sharing findings in innovative ways.
The ProQuest breakthrough research environment continues to be inspired by input from you—and evolves to respond to growing needs.
We've moved quickly on this latest release, so you can take immediate advantage of additional enhancements. Highlights include:
Connect & Customize
Customization of views for search results:
- Librarians can use the ProQuest Administrator Module to set the default view for search results in their databases to either brief or detailed.
- Similarly, in My Research users can choose a default view that's either a brief view or detailed view of search results.
Search & Discover
Improved Recent Searches:
- Now users can easily keep track of and manage their searches with the improved "Recent Searches" design, which quickly enables researchers to save their searches for later use, create an alert to keep up to date on the latest research, and more.
Save & Track
Manage, save, modify, and create alerts and RSS feeds:
- RSS feeds are improved to include full text linking, so they support a wide variety of RSS readers and tools.
Analyze & Store
- Enhancements to Document View page's layout supports faster scanning of each page's content for improved readability.
Download & Report
- Researchers can customize their output from ProQuest, choosing only the information elements they need. For example, you may only want basic bibliographic information and the full text from your results. ProQuest not only provides this flexibility but it will also remember your choices, allowing you to reuse them again during your session.
